• velodyne 18"/ M&K push pull 12"/?

I'm going to look at 2 subs tomorrow - a velodyne uld 18/1800 18" servo-controlled down firing and an M&K 150 watt, push/pull 12" with one inverted 12" on bottom and one front-firing - I need a sub to take to the office where my 2nd pair of LSI's will be living until I figure out how to make room for them as rears w/the other...

  • Re: Do we have a Luxman expert here.

Hello, Not an expert but a big fan of Luxman products. Excellent build quality and supper clean sounding. The silver faced units are the earlier and better gear. Cosmetically they are beautiful, simple and understated. IMO. I have an L-5 that I bought new and have played almost daily since. However, I never knew just how good it could sound until I...

  • marantz 1070

The newbie is back with another question... Would the above amp provide crisp, clear and powerful sound to my Forte II's? I keep hearing that Forte II's are very efficient, and could be sufficiently pushed by 30W or less. Can someone 'walk' me through how this would be possible? I think its just with me seeing 150W per channel on these...

Seen a lot here. All have opinions and that my friends is what this forum is about and why we meet here. Sometimes it's actually about Klipsch speakers. Reference vs. Heritage etc, etc And so to opine regardless of "Topic Title" I own and listen occasionally to this artist's LPs but the fact of the matter is this is one individual...

  • Re: Automatic Pitch Correction
So how do you feel about lip-syncing?
It's only acceptable in the case of stormy or windy weather at an outside concert, a singer with a sore throat, a singer who has to dance so hard she'd be out of breath and couldn't sing, a studio vocal effect that can't be duplicated live, or especially in...

Here are some pics of my room. Willy, you're quite the home-spun iron chef. Where do you get all of your ideas from? That frittata made the ol' tummy grumble. I, for one would love to try me a slice of this: http://www.bbqaddicts.com/blog/recipes/bacon-explosion/ Vegetarians, healthy people, women and children, look away.

Q-Lectronic is where I got my La Scalas, and last year they had a pair of Klipschorns. They've also had Heresies in the past. You never know what you'll find there, and they have a high-end room upstairs. I also got my Technics turntable there.
