This is my first ever blog. How exciting for me!
I guess this is where I start out with a "get to know ya" type thing....is that right? I'm new.
My name is Amy. I work in the marketing department at Klipsch, mostly monitoring the forum, managing our online product content, and managing direct sales on our website and eBay store....among other things! I've been here since July 2000..... all the while watching the company grow by leaps and bounds. I don't think women are supposed to disclose their age, but I certainly don't mind revealing that I'm coming up fast on my 20 year high school reunion...UGH! I've lived on the northside of Indy most of my life, graduated Indiana U in Bloomington (5-year plan) with a degree in History....stands to reason I'd be working here, right?
In trying to figure out what the heck I should blog about, it seemed painfully obvious to me that I should write about what I know...specially movies and 2 year olds (I have a 2 year old son, Steven). At least then people wouldn't be able to rip on me for writing about ill-informed jibberish...although jibberish it still may be. For those of you interested in Klipsch specifically, it might be fun to throw in a few anecdotes about life at the Administrative Headquarters....like what Jim Hunter had for lunch today, or who left their lights on in the parking lot. So check back for those, too.
