Too Many Fright Night Features When I Was A Kid

Daily Photo:  As I approached this tree just outside the engineering facility to snap a picture, I had an overwhelming fear that a raccoon was going to jump out at me and grab my face.

Sort of that same feeling I have when swimming in a lake and realizing a Great White is going to come up from the depths of 12 feet to snack on me, followed of course by a school of piranha.

Or the sensation I get when I put my hand down the garbage disposal to retrieve a toddler-sized spoon and believing whole-heartedly that my hand is going to get chewed off when the disposal magically turns on, even when no one is even remotely near the switch.

Or the suspicion I have when I walk down a dark hall that a tall, shadow figure with a hockey-masked face (or William Shatner) is lurking just out of sight ready to leap out at me.

You know, just like that.
