This whimsical umbrella is tucked away next to our receiving dock down in the engineering center.  It makes me smile because I assume it would be used by Charlie, our facilities coordinator, who is widely regarded to be the grumpiest man in the building.  Self-proclaimed.  I think this umbrella proves otherwise, and his carefully-crafted image has been shattered.

Naw, Charlie would just get wet. That would give him something else to complain about.

He's really not THAT grumpy once you get to know him, he just likes things in their place. He has 170+/- people trying to mess up his work area (dock) and it takes diligence to keep it neat. Make it a practice to return tools to their proper locations and Charlie is your friend for life.

It's got to take an incredible amount of work to keep track of everything and keep things neet and orderly.
