Meet John, Manager of Credit and Collections

Daily Photo

I was wandering about the accounting department last week looking for interesting Daily Photos.  Unfortunately, not too much exciting happens in accounting, at least nothing audio enthusiasts would find exciting, so I thought I'd get a meet-people-at-Klipsch shot.  After all, no one on the outside really gets to meet our fine accountants.

John and I, being the same age, started working at Klipsch roughly the same time 8 years ago, so you could say we've sort of "grown up" together.  Grown older, anyway.  An Indianapolis native and confirmed Star Wars geek, John also apparently owns stock in Post-Its.  Most days I approach him with caution, as you never know when he's working with auditors, but usually he's quite friendly under that gruff exterior.  But hey, I'd be gruff too if I had to deal with numbers all day.  Not to mention sales guys.

I can't really explain the styrofoam cups, though.  Coffee addict? Champion Cup Stacker?  Seedling starter?  Or perhaps he's just environmentally conscious and can't bring himself to throw them away.  At any rate, when John is not collecting cups or reminding himself of something via Post-Its, he can be found golfing, fishing, or doing something athletics-related.  I think he has to in order to unravel his mind from paperwork.

Hi John!  Send me KHorns ... now.  Checks is in the mail, sent it out yesterday.  Wheeeeeeee.

Don't make me go Yoda light saber on you ... call shipping!

The Force says ... "mail George KHorns, mail George KHorns, do not bill, do not bill, write off against Sales samples or Amy's slush fund, send KHorns, George nice, mail KHorns"

(Amy - if John starts walking around in a Zombie like state please direct him to the nearest PC with order entry.)

Nobody's hobby is accounting. (it's ok, I have a degree, so it's self-deprecating humor at worst)

John's one of the genuinely nice guys there at Klipsch, always has a smile!
