Meet the RC-Micro

Daily Photo

One of the most exciting new products launching from Energy this season is this tiny little guy, seen here with the Klipsch devil-ducky and my car keys for size perspective.  Plus that ducky is too cool.

Bundled in a 5.1 configuration, these gems not only take up very little space, but sound about 10 times larger than they are.  And priced just under 1k.  If the early buzz is any indication, these itty-biggie guys are going to be a hit.

Those are tiny....

but they sound better than those popular little cube speakers.  I suspect that they won't be missing so much of the sound as the little cubes.

Energy products have always been highly regarded so I suspect these do sound pretty good.

Maybe a hit with lame music lovers, PK must be rolling in his grave. If this is where Klipsch is going time to pack it in.

I was in best buy the other day and saw these Klipsch speakers that were smaller than my wiener and i said how sad a great speaker company has come to this.

PK  RIP my friend , I am glad your not around to see this.

Tom,

You must be confused: this is an Energy Product built upon the principles and philosophy of the Energy Brand, not PWK.  I encourage you to read about them and listen to their products before you pass judgment.

Thanks!

I want a devil ducky!!  Are those actually affiliated with Klipsch in any way, or just a fun thing to have around, sort of like a yellow ones?

I want a devil ducky too ducky !!!  C'mon Amy - print Klipsch on em and put them in the store!  Get some life size ones.  Those are great.

Tom - you should be careful pulling your junk out in Best Buy.  There might be kids around.  Is that a new Thiele-Small parameter?  The TMW ratio.  Regardless, I'd be reluctant to buy any electronics you've measured up to ...

Inner Tube, You got that right my friend, any one who would buy into a mini, micro or whatever type of satellite speakers should never be able to own a set of Heritage LaScalas.

I guess I will just have to suffer with mine.

Well Mr. Mayer, if you have not figured it out by now Klipsch is a very diversified company with several top rate brand names under the hood. I love my Indy Las but Energy has been building great speaker for some years now also:-)

Klipsch is still a great speaker company and can suit more than just Heritage lovers needs!

If your bigger than that speaker you should call John Holmes old agent as you might have a lucrative future;-) LOL

And I thought Klipsch speakers were built in some ones basement in Indiana,  I am wrong .

If anyones Johnson is smaller than those speakers I feel sorry for them.

And his wife.

I wonder how your strat would sound thru those speakers.

Eric will sound like he is standing in my room tonight.

Sorry to all if I have offended anyone here but PWK vision was big speakers with great sound and I think these speakers

are blasphemous.

Again, Tom, these are not speakers from PWK's legacy, but someone else's all together.  Please don't confuse the two.

We still manufacture the much-loved Heritage products in Hope, AR, as most are aware, and not because they are money-makers.  We make them out of respect for our founder and our fans.

There is something for everyone, and it is not appropriate here to belittle others for their choice in speakers.

This is a good-natured blog, and I'd like to keep it that way.

Thanks
