Doing His Part

Back in January, I introduced you to Mark, a soon-to-be-15-year Klipsch member and all around knowledgeable guy.  He has been seen pedaling his way to work from time to time, a 7.5 mile one-way trip, and has recently vowed to do this every day.  I find it remarkable and inspirational even in the lovely weather we've been having, but can't wait to catch some shots of him when it's 15 degrees with 2 feet of snow on the ground.

When I was growing up one of the local high school's cross country runners would run to school and back - every day - northern Indiana.

My dad worked for the county highway and I think said he'd pass him occasionally but he'd never once accept a ride.  Talk about dedication - passing while plowing snow.

Hope Mark doesn't get in trouble if he gets a little melted snow on the carpet.

I thought about trying during nice weather but be a little hot and sweaty arriving at work, afraid one of the good ole boys in these parts might run me off the road, the girls often have something going on I'm on my way to, and probably the biggest reason being I'm too lazy.

Pedal on Mark!
