Crossing It Off My List

Thanks, pmsummer!  

Does anyone keep a "things to do before you die" list?  I like to keep mine simple.  Things that I can clearly achieve without too much hassle, but just haven't gotten around to:

  • See NYC: Take a ferry to Ellis Island, go to the top of the Empire State building and stand in Times Square
  • Learn to crochet a blanket
  • See the Cubs play in Wrigley Field
  • Paint a landscape
  • Visit the homes of my ancestors
  • Show Steven Paris
  • Receive a telegram
  • Buy my next house specifically on the criteria to accommodate Klipschorns
  • Ride in a cable car

There's more, but you get the idea.

NIce list, I have done the first time on your list, twice.  It was really fun.

If you would like to cross the third thing off your list this year send me an email.  I go to a few games a year and can get you tickets for face value.

ok, that is sooo cool - gotta love that 'People of Heritage' bit!

btw, you don't want to 'stand' in Times Square, you'll get run over or trampled. Keep moving please..... I'd take you to 'the city' (as it's called) but I hear you're taken. LOL

You walk to Ellis Island now

The top of the Empire  State Building costs 10 dollars a ticket

And Times Square is best only at night.
