Dwight and Dilbert: Local Cuisine

It turns out the ducks weren't lost at all, but rather savoring the milder Georgia weather.  Good idea, since they are now on their way to Minnesota.  I hope they are still wearing their stockings.

Here they are taking a look at, and a whiff of, Tom's "almost world famous" collard greens.  Although not a common staple for Hoosiers, these greens are quite popular throughout the south.  They even have a festival held in their honor not too far from the location of this picture.

I can't say I'm too fond of anything green, leafy, and above refrigerator temperature, but these actually look quite tasty.

Southern greens YUMMMMMMMMMY

It sounds terrible but taste great. We have a couple hidden soul food restaurants here in town that do it just right.

Whew....  when I read the title, I thought Dwight and Dilbert were the cuisine.

Sending 'em north in January?  What'd they do to deserve that?  I thought ducks went south for the winter?

I know I'm bragging, but I'm serious when I say that I've had people try my collards that swore they would never eat them and as for more.  Honestly, they are vary, vary close to the ones's served iat Magnolia's in Charleston, SC.  Sunburnwilly knows what I'm talking about since he's a (dam fine) waiter there who knows his wines.
