PWK: A Salute

Every so often I get an email that makes me smile and reminds me of why we do what we do.  And it never fails to surprise me what a lasting effect Paul Klipsch had on people's lives:

My name is Gary, and I want to express my gratitude to truly a genius, a great human being and my hero indeed. I was born 1955 at 3.5 pounds, and was kept in an incubator for days. I had a 50-50 chance of survival. Well, I made it but I lost 50% of my hearing in the left ear. All my life I've never been able to listen to music, especially the lyrics, the way I do now since I purchased the RF-63 Reference speakers.  P.W. Klipsch - where have you been all my life?  This man is a hero to me, and I'm truly sorry he passed on 7 years ago.

I notice the memorial plaque on the website. Wish I could have expressed my gratitude in person.

Thanks for listening to a thankful Canadian.

Thank you, Gary, for sharing your story.  Paul would have been pleased.

Thanks for writing and it's a pretty common story.

My gf has an 80% loss in one ear and some loss in the other due to an accident in her youth.

The first time she heard (rather felt) a movie on my system she was amazed- she said- "I've never heard sound like that in my life"!

Thanks PWK !
