...because I get to beta test stuff like this -- the up-coming Gallery line of flat panel speakers from Klipsch, which are temporarily replacing my beloved RVX-42s. How do they sound? I'll just say that I really really really don't want to give them back. Curses!

(who ever says the word "curses" anymore? oh, well, I guess I do)

So what kind of receiver do you have running your stuff?  And aren't you worried about heat from the fireplace (when in use obviously) on that sensitive electronic equipment?

I think it's a Denon. How's that for specific? I've had it several years, and I don't know the model. Terrible, aren't I? I just know it works and it sounds good.

I haven't used the fireplace in probably 5 years, but the heat does not affect the electronics at all. It goes straight up the chimney. :)
