150 Years Ago Today

Today marks the 150th anniversary of the firing on Fort Sumter, launching the four bloodiest years in US history. I love that these guys tour the country putting on their reenactments, nerdy as it is, and it's quite entertaining for us as spectators -- although I suspect most people go just to see a cannon being fired. Which is kinda cool. But as the date becomes farther and father removed from us, I appreciate what they to do keep it fresh in our minds. Because to forget would almost be as tragic as the events themselves.

These are the people that understand that the horrors of war must never be forgotten..... of course we all know it's acting, just like the movies, but without the special effects.....

no more blank cartridges, i am thinking klipsch industrial for sound effects would make the reenactment all the more realistic
