Paint it Black

I saw the Rolling Stones in Louisville, 1989. I was a sophomore in college, and the road trip seemed like a good idea at the time. Looking back, I guess it was. From what I remember.

I do remember these guys rocked. And they were old then. And now I'm old. And they still tour. Wow.

This is my favorite tune of theirs by a long shot. While the lyrics are patently depressing, the beat itself it great for treadmilling. I think I just made up a word.

I've never seen them live.  Amazingly enough there's still a chance.  20+ years ago the drummer looked the "oldest" due to graying hair.

By far the youngest looking now.

Rock 'n roll drumming is hard work.

How in blazes did Mick move like he does at 40, much less 60?

And Keith Richards may be proof that zombies roam this earth.... but he can still play a mean guitar.

I still have 2 questions when Keith fell out of tree a few years back.

Why was he in the tree?

How the 'ell did he get into the tree?

"I know it's only Rock and Roll...."

RIP OB
