The past seven years have seen the most ups and downs of my life. And I'm lucky to have spent them all with you. Happy 7th, kiddo!

Trey was out in the lovely weather setting up and testing these for an upcoming event here at our headquarters. Now, it has been said that Trey is the master of overkill, but I think this is ok. After all, a party isn't a party until you've pissed off the neighbors.

There's no other way to say it. This summer has been a drain. I do not know how some people travel for a living. Maybe it's because they usually don't drag their kids along with them? I could see that as being a bonus.

Twice in 2 weeks I made the trek from Indy to Chicago. Don't ask why, I wear myself out explaining. And then I sound nuts...and we can't have that.

I didn't take many photos on the grown-up camera during either trip (SURPRISE!), that's just how deflated I've been. But I did manage to sneak in a few iPod pictures, which shows some effort. A little. Ok, barely any. This one was snapped on the way home from the second Chicago trip north of Lafayette, Indiana. Those of you who have been on the-most-boring-highway-in-the-US in the past 3 years have probably not soon forgotten these behemoths rising up from the corn fields. Wind farms, they call them. Thousand of these strange looking alien contraptions have taken up residence along that little stretch of highway, and just ask Steven -- it's something to see.

Thank goodness, or I could be sitting here dead from boredom.

I have been absent from the blog for far too long. Luckily school started today and I can now get back into a routine that makes me much less frazzled. I am a creature of structure, so it seems I've been in a tail spin since June. Feeling better now. Breathe....

I was also out on vacation all last week, which was a much needed break. But when I came back to work to find this, I realized what exactly what I loved most about working here, and one of the reasons I keep coming back for more.
