I'm sure most offices around the world are like ours ... no one really takes ownership of tidying up the break room. People here eventually do it as it gets on their nerves. Like the Mensa scholar behind this dishwasher soap debacle. Bless his heart for it being in the right place.

Not mentioning any names. Trey. But at least the floor is nice and clean.

Your break room has a dishwasher?  Nice.

Out of dishwasher soap so standard dish soap was used instead?

Our refrigerators and microwaves normally get cleaned when somebody gets disgusted with the current state or someone spills something and bothers to clean up ofter themselves.

Some leave one 'ell of a mess such as the microwave tray full of soup.... I guess they think their momma's going to come in and clean up after them?

See what happens when men try to do the household chores...

I did tell the building guy...stuck around to help clean up.

The drain was clogged...which didn't help things.

That is a good way to test that the drain is clogged.

A kid we called Nougathead, since 5th grade (he was 4th) pulled on the emergency shower in our high school's chemistry room.  Yep shower worked.  Good news the school had settled evenly.

Bad news.  There was no drain.

Nougathead was a fitting name.

We later found that there was no fire extinguisher is said room which also doubled as a physics lab ...
