Legends in Racing, Part 7 - AJ

There is no bigger name at the Indy 500 than Texas-native A. J. Foyt. Not one. None. Never. Ever. Which is why he is wrapping up this series.

A.J's career as a driver at the yard o' bricks has spanned 5 decades, from 1958 to 1993, with 35 consecutive starts and 4 wins. As a team owner, two of his drivers qualified this year, Mike Conway and rookie Wade Cunningham, starting 29th and 26th respectively. 

A man not known for his patience, I took this photo as inconspicuously as possible. I'm not just a celebrity gawker...I'm a smart one, too.

Nice photo.  Of course the look if he'd been in a bad mood and turned and stared would've made a great photo...
