&lt;P&gt;I'm fairly new in the world of SLR photography.&amp;nbsp; I have a relatively inexpensive digital camera of the point and click variety, which has been very adequate up until now, and for my work-blog pics, I've been using the company camera (which sadly is way out of my price range).&amp;nbsp; But I wanted something of my own, and something that would take more...interesting pictures than I had been taking up until now.&amp;nbsp; Plus I just plain needed a hobby.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;So, I got &lt;A href="http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&amp;amp;fcategoryid=139&amp;amp;modelid=14256" target=_blank&gt;this one&lt;/A&gt; at Best Buy on my whim today at lunch.&amp;nbsp; It just "felt" right, more so than the others I tried.&lt;BR&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Of course I've been playing with it all evening....Steven is sick of saying "CHEEEESE!"&amp;nbsp; Although I've asked him not to say that anymore, he still feels compelled whenever he sees the camera in front of my face.&amp;nbsp; I've trained him too well.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Granted, I still have &lt;I&gt;a lot&lt;/I&gt; of learning to do (and resizing this to something blog-manageable has left it less sharp than it was originally, I need to figure that out too), I can definitely say I have NEVER EVER taken an action shot that looks as clear as this one does:&lt;/P&gt;
