Our brand new speaker showroom debuted at headquarters this morning to rave reviews from the marketing team. Hey, that's what we do. My favorite part, not counting the cool products on display of course, is this lifesize runner coming right at you as you open the door. Feels like a ride at Universal Studios.

I'm sure most offices around the world are like ours ... no one really takes ownership of tidying up the break room. People here eventually do it as it gets on their nerves. Like the Mensa scholar behind this dishwasher soap debacle. Bless his heart for it being in the right place.

Not mentioning any names. Trey. But at least the floor is nice and clean.

Trey was out in the lovely weather setting up and testing these for an upcoming event here at our headquarters. Now, it has been said that Trey is the master of overkill, but I think this is ok. After all, a party isn't a party until you've pissed off the neighbors.

This is one of my favorite spots in the building. I'm not sure if it's the stark contrast of old vs. new speakers, funky spider lamp, psychedelic chairs, or fake fig tree. I'm guessing it's the combination of all four.

If you enter the terrace level (back doors), turn left to face the cafe entrance then look up two flights, you'll see this window. In this window is a giant KGE logo, then deeper in that same window is the reflection of our foyer skylight, hence the blue. And deeper still (so deep it's actually behind) is customer service.

Do I still have everyone? It doesn't really matter because I just think this is a way cool photo. At least the shades of blue are way cool.

A quick snap from yesterday while taking a stretch around the building. Of course, today is back to dreary and overcast. I'm thinking about getting this image poster-sized and hung behind me in my cube like a window...but wait, that would mean I work somewhere else. Then I'd be profoundly jealous of everyone inside the lovely building out my window who does nothing all day but make kick-ass speakers.

Another recently added feature to the building is this lovely rotating 60th Anniversary Khorn.

I think I actually heard someone in accounting say as they walked by: "Wait a minute.... you mean I've been working at a SPEAKER company this whole time???"
