&lt;p&gt;A different design approach than the Klipsch controlled directivity versus the omnipolar radiation pattern these are designed for. &amp;nbsp;I suspect they sound very good given enough space so that the early reflections aren't too early. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Mirage has built high quality speakers for years and the few I've heard have sounded very good. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My opinion is that the speaker companies Klipsch Audio Technologies has acquired all produce first rate products and complement each other nicely. &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So, being &amp;quot;cute&amp;quot;, these should also pass the strictest spousal &amp;nbsp;acceptance factor for those who don't appreciate large enclosures. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
