I'm always dumping over a box of screws or nails of one size or another out in the garage. Or the box or bag just plain rips out. (That's often the ripped out box in a bag that then rips.)

And we've almost emptied a jar. I'll have to remind my better half and chilluns not to throw it out.

Ticked me off a few weeks ago when all the Kroger yogurt containers with lids were tossed out - they were the perfect size for cottage cheese or fruit for lunch. And they've quit including the plastic lids as a "green" initiative. Makes sense I suppose, but they sure were handy. I think the cups are thinner now too. I've thought about writing them to make the lids available. I mean there could be a few people out there who only eat half a container at one time?

I think I'll start saving all our plastic lidded jars as I'm getting tired of picking screws up off the floor.

I've still got a few 35mm film canisters in various drawers with brads and cup hooks and the like. Most are the Kodak - black with the grey lids and a few clear I think from Fuji film? Just labeled the lid of the black ones with a fine point Sharpie. Great in college for storing spare X-Acto blades.
