This is a list of my favorite movie viewings from 2010. They weren't all released this year but I watched them all for the first time this year. I didn't scrutinize the order but it is more or less in the order of my enjoyment. Jesse Eisenberg shows up a lot (and in his best film yet he definitely sets himself apart from Michael Cera), the Coen Brothers appear twice and only one foreign film (A Prophet, not for the sqeamish) makes the top ten. Perhaps I shoud attempt to branch out a little more in 2011. Also, it is quite unusal for me to have no movies outside the last five years in my top ten (although Dirty Harry made honorable mention).
