July 2011 - Posts

For our next episode we are going to talk about the recent thriller, Unknown. Here are some movies we've been thinking about watching in the coming weeks. This isn't set in stone, but since we deliver a spoiler-ridden podcast we thought it would be good to give a bit of a heads up.

This week Phil and Matt discuss the engrossing sci-fi film, Moon. They also talk about the the late 80s Woody Allen film, Crimes and Misdemeanors. Phil saw Captain America: The First Avenger and gives a quick assessment. Matt gives a quick plug for the 90s independent film, Trees Lounge.

NOTE: Our discussions always contain SPOILERS. Be advised.

Phil and Matt dedicate the entire show to discussing the opening of Breaking Bad's fourth season. Here is a link to an interview we mention.
NOTE: There are multiple SPOILERS in this podcast. Beware.

This week, Matt and Phil discuss History of the World: Part I and Mel Brooks films in general. They also share their thoughts on the first episode of the third season of Deadwood, the heralded HBO series from the mid-2000s.

As you may have noticed, we haven't been finding the time to blog
regularly. But we don't want the Movies & TV portion of the Klipsch
blogosphere to disappear all together.
Thus, we have come up with The Every Tuesday Show
(which this week comes to you on Wednesday). This weekly 20 minute
podcast will touch on whatever Phil and I have been watching over the
course of the last seven days. A lot of times we watch things on our
lunch break with fellow Klipsch employees and we hope some of them will
join in on the conversation from time to time.
This week we talk a
little about the television shows Deadwood and Breaking Bad as well as
the movies Super 8, Crimson Tide, Somewhere and Jack Goes Boating.
Please bear with us on this first one. We are still getting acclimated
to the format.
NOTE: THERE WILL ALWAYS BE SPOILERS. So, if such things matter to you, please listen after you have seen the movies or tv shows we indicate we will be mentioning.
