Oh, you shouldn't think of her as being a woman. No, that would be a mistake.

We took a look at Steven Soderbergh's recent action film, Haywire. The fights have an immediacy that you only get by casting a Mixed Martial Arts fighter as your lead. The film stars Gina Carano alongside several big time actors in a story of betrayal and revenge. We discuss what works and what doesn't in the action scenes, performances and story. Please forgive our mouth breathing, it's our first week on a new mic setup.

It's not like any mission is gonna be rougher than the last one, is it?

No genre utilizes a quality surround sound set up like the action picture. This week we talk about the latest installment in the Mission Impossible franchise, Ghost Protocol. It is very good... but we nitpick anyway. This kicks off a cycle of 6 straight action movies.

The Jerk was released in 1979, but feels like the first of the wave of
comedies that were most popular in the 80s featuring the likes of Steve
Martin, Bill Murray, Chevy Chase and John Candy. Our discussion focuses on
the film and the era in which it was made.

Reitman, the army comedy is the first movie pairing of Murray and Harold
