Heritage Products now available at Klipsch.com!

Historically, Klipsch Heritage Series loudspeakers have been offered only through select dealers. U.S. customers can now buy direct. These speakers feature unmatched sensitivity and dynamics, recreating the experience—and the passion—of a live musical event.

Klipsch Heritage Series products are handmade in the U.S. at our Hope, Ark. manufacturing facility, where the first Klipschorn speaker was built in 1946. Heritage speakers are built to order; including hand assembly and shipping, turnaround time is approximately four weeks.

Heritage models, including the Klipschorn, La Scala II, Cornwall III and Heresy III, are available in three lacquered wood veneer finishes: cherry, walnut and black ash.  Visit the product pages for each model on our website for more information, and to purchase.

Outstanding!!! That will save some of us who live in the middle of nowhere alot of heartache when we get ready to purchase a new pair of Heresy,s etc. Well Done; Great decision by Corporate!!

Only one question: As with other Klipsch items, e.g. on the Klipsch e-bay store, will we have the option to pick the product up in Hope as opposed to shipping?

Thanks again Amy and Klipsch. This should really get the ball rolling on new Heritage purchases!!

Yes, they absolutely can be picked up in Hope--I should add that to the policies, thank you!  Note that shipping within the continental US is included in the price of the speakers.

    Thanks!

WOOO HOOOOO! That is some FANTASTIC news. You guys can thank Mark Kauffman at the next Pilgrimage. He is the man who did most of the leg work for resurrecting the Heritage series and for the Heritage Direct program.

Wonderful decision! I hope, though, that they will still be available in the few stores that display them, so they don't vanish from the public consciousness! For a young, or new, consumer there is nothing like walking into a showroom, spying a pair of Klipschorns, wondering "what is that huge speaker?," then hearing the incredibly clean dynamics that none of the other speakers in the showroom can match! I'll bet that such accidental discovery is the primary way Heritage speakers are sold to new audiophiles. In any case, IMO, a condition for a dealer being permitted to sell any Klipsch product should be a training session in which they are made clearly aware that Heritage speakers exist (show them pictures!) so they don't echo the BestBuy employee reported by someone on this forum, who, on being asked if he carried Klipshorns, looked blank, then said, "All Klipsch speakers are Klipsch horns!"

They will still be available to our dealers who are dedicated to the line.  We will have a list available soon.

Re: Heritage Products now available at Klipsch.com!

Amy, I'm very interested in that list of Heritage dealers, so I can email friends in other parts of the country and tell them where to HEAR Heritage! I like that you used the word "dedicated." Some dealers ARE dedicated. When I purchased a center channel a few years ago, such a dealer delivered a Belle Klipsch to my home, more than an hour's drive from his store in Eugene, at no charge! A year later he did the same thing with a RSW-15! He has evidently made a habit of this, because I got his name from your Rep, who said the dealer's van is "Sometimes seen in Corvallis." For nostalgia, here is an Honor Roll of past Heritage dealers in my old haunt, the San Francisco Bay Area: Joe Minor's Berkeley Custom Electronics (the pioneer!) Pro-Audio Stairway to Sound The Listening Post Poor Richard's The Good Guys (sometimes had the labels peeled off --- suspicious!) And one which will remain nameless ... the manager had the nerve to tell a visiting Paul Klipsch that he "had to pad down" the midrange driver in the Klipschorns. They say there is nothing left but a crater where the store once was. They say it's still smoking.

    Sal,

Go back up to Amy's first post and click on the individual links.  This brings up the product, with prices listed just above the BIN button.

Example for the Cornwall product.     Enjoy
