    New Guy....

Welcome to the freak show called FUG'ers Chuck! Glad to have you!

Some may consider what you did to your speakers heresy but alas, you didn't know what you had eh? They were just another set of speakers and there were likely plenty more where those came from I'm guessing. But hey! Now you've seen the light and all is right with the world! Some of the best sounding Fraziers I have are also the ugliest!

    Re: Another New Guy....

Was trolling the city wide garage sale in Bellaire TX sat. and happened upon a pair of Super Midgets.  Took them home ($10) and liked the sound.  So today I met up with the guy selling the MK VI "new in box" and indeed they were. Now they are mine, I must be a FUG newbie.  What a way to start!!

    Welcome new guys!

I have been happy with my Mark 5's in my main system, but with my new Sevens, I havent had my TV on in almost two weeks. I've had people bring over their songs that they have some kind of emotional tie to. They get teary eyed!

    Thats power!

I didn't have much room, so I sold my Mark 5's to my duplex neighbor. He's a musician and has been doing some recording at his place. He was blown away by how his own tune sounded.

My Buckaroos will be residing with my best friend, Caroline. We danced for hours to some old songs, alone in my living room. I can't keep all my Fraziers, but they stay in the family!

    Re: Elevens in DFW. $1500.

I had a deal with this guy for his Mark VI's NIB just a few days ago. I spent a couple hours on the phone with him, numerous emails, logistics to ship, etc. It all seemed to be going just swimmingly.

Then I saw the post from the new guy with the Midgets and VI's........(Sincere congratulations to Stav56 by the way! You're off to a seriously great start!)

Lesson of the week is......."first one with the money gets them." (Promises and deals be damned!) So don't get your hopes up if you think you have a deal in place. This may sound like sour grapes to some. It's not. Just a word of caution. It would have been nice if he simply informed me that "hey, you realize that if someone shows up with cash I'll have to take it" would have been all he had to say. It's not necessary to lead someone to believe one thing and then have them pull the rug out from under you.

Wow, I just checked out the ad for the elevens. I had no idea how small they are.  (The pix suck!)  Lots of $$ for them and

you can't see any detail in the pix.

    my 2 cents.

Only 50 pair made. Please someone from the list grab them. Still a steal at that price.

If it don't rust or glow, I don't trust it!

Lone, only 50 pair made before Jack passed away in 1983. I'd love to know the sr. #'s. I do know that they made 11's in the 18 months that the owners that bought Frazierm before they sold out and the hi fi line was dropped...But , that's not a bad price, depending on how they look....I know  you-know-who got a pair for $400.00, but he did have to drive from Houston to Fort Worth....LOL

Yeah, really sucked.  Had to pay 20.00 to rent a trailer and take half a day to get there.  Then found he failed to tell me he had a complete Sound Craftsman tuner, amp, and preamp that were minty and had to go with them as well.

    PITA.

Dave, I remember that...you stole them... I've e-mailed the guy to see what the sr #'s are, don't know if he'll get back to me or not. When you think about it, if they are in fair shape, the price is not too bad, cause there ain't many of them out there...

I'm thinking those belong to a member here. Perhaps you could post better pictures for us to see what condition they are in. A little background on them would be most welcomed too.

    Thanks
