robroy3300:Anyone have a pair,or just one old La Scala they want to part with? I have all the components from another pair,(horns,x-overs,and woofers) but I need an original enclosure to build my own set. I know of the Speakerlab prints, but have never seen any drawings of a build for a Belle or La Scala-Has anyone else?

There you go...right off this forum....belle plans are on the forum too...but the mid horn for belle's are hard to find....LaScala parts are all over this forum and ebay if needed.
I would make a practice pair out of commercial grade wood, there are some tricky cuts and assembly proceedures....then build a keeper set out of high grade 3/4 Birch, Oak, or some other furniture grade Ply.
Stay away from MDF, unless they will never be moved or your going to metal trim them. They chip easy and joints seperate if hit the ground too hard. Also, MDF absorbs moisture like a sponge and your straight sections will curve.
