I am the original owner of a pair of Klipsch Chorus II Speakers.  They are housed in Oiled Oak Cabinets that are in excellent condition as well as the grilles.  As you know, Klispch manufactures the best speakers available.  I have downsized my home and these speakers need more space.... I am selling them for $850 for the pair.  The speakers are located in the Phoenix Arizona area.

Is Chorus II a better speaker than Cornwalls II - or more valuable ?

I might be totally off but $850 sounds like a high price for me - I would be more than happy to sell my Corwall II for $800.

I don't think it has anything to do with someone thinking one is better than the other. IMO it is a supply and demand issue. It appears to me there are always more Cornwalls on the market then there are Chorus at any given time. That is what will dictate price.

I would spend no more than $500/pr for Chorus and $750/pr for Cornwalls.     However, as a seller, I'd rather have it priced

high and come down than price it too low and short yourself.

It seems to me that it is a personal preference one over the other. 

Per my post above, this is why I think Corn's are a more popular and better speaker - here are the last 5 listings for

each on ebay:

Five pair of Chorus for sale, one pair sold at $560, four others went unsold at 405, 499, 750, and 800 dollars.

 Five pair of Corn's for sale, 4 sold at $410, 650, 745, 1050, one pair went unsold at $795.

Phoenix metro area is one of the largest in the country, so if you can't sell your Chorus there.................end transmission.

There is a pair on audiogon in oiled wanlut finish for $675, I am sure with little negociation the person will come down to $600.

I doubt you are gonna get an answer. The seller's last post was over a year and a half ago, and, with only 2 posts to his name, it appears as though his only interest in the forum was to sell his speakers. I could be wrong, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for his reply if I were you.

EDIT: AZSunlover last visited the site two days ago, so there is hope. Sorry about the comment regarding "his only interest in the forum", AZ.
