Nos Valves Stereo amp $1200 shipped

    I believe Allan's was modified by Craig to use a different output tube and that is the reason for the difference. I could be wrong but that's what I seem to recall. I know Allan loved that amp and was sad to see it go. At $1200, I'm very tempted since we're close to purchasing our beach house and I'll need some gear for my "man cave." This is a hard deal to pass on.

    Fini - You can come hang with us at the beach, amp or no amp :)  Unfortunately, for now that's exactly where we'd be hanging so bring a shovel and a tent.

    Regarding the amp, after some of the comments and rumors, I think I'll wait for the next one.  Good luck Nailbiter.

    Edit:  Sorry.  I meant Nailbender.  I hope that slip-up of mine doesn't prove to be more fitting before all is said and done.
