    Palladium

    Greetings,

It's been such a long time since I've posted, but since I just shelled out the $ for the new line-up I was wondering if Amy might put a dedicated forum heading for tdiscussion about the new Palladium line.  Would love to have a dedicate area for just these, seeing that they are the most impressive (imho) thing Klipsch has done in a while, shouldn't they have there own area in the forums?

    Just a thought...........Scott

     Hi Scott,

This is a good idea since the Palladium posts are scattered throughout the forum and hard to find.  We typically do not break the forum out by product lines, however.  I don't want it to be seen as dismissive of our other products.  I'll give it some thought...

    Re: Palladium

I just put the $ out a few days ago.  I was told the mains will arrive first, sometime in June and the center, bookshelf and subs in July and August.  So that is a while.  I went with the big mains and the center and 2 pairs of the bookshelf and 2 subs for a 7.2 system. I listen to alot of SACD and DVD-Audio and of course vinyl.

I'll be driving them with a Crestron amp that pumps out a wonderful 200 watts x 7.  I have a NAD Master Series procesor and a NAD Master Series universal disc player, and a Pro-Ject turntable with a Sumiko blue point cartridge.

I'm very excited to get the new beasts.  I've loved my Referance 7 line, I've just always wanted what the Palladium represents.  Didn't want to jump the Klipsch ship to B&W or something else.  So when I learned of the new line, I jumped in with both feet, without even hearing them.  I just love the Klipsch sound, as we all do here, and I know that I'll just love them.  How's that for brand loyalty?

My audio advisor will install these when they all arrive, instead of doing piece by piece.  I think that's a good idea, as they will all break-in together.

So, at some point I'll have alot of "7s" to sell.

    Shine On!................Scott

    Re: Palladium

Congrats on your purchase!  That is going to be one impressive system!  Wow, I'm floored.  7.2, eh?  I haven't read this anywhere but I assume that the Palladium subs have the room correction feature on them similar to the RT-12d?  I am curious how that works with a pair of subs.

Post some pics after the system is installed.  I second the Florida pilgrimmage idea.

BTW, keep me in mind if/when you decide to get rid of your RB-75s.

    Re: Palladium

What's your listening room like?  Big?

I've had the chance to play some with the P-39f and sub.  Two subs and the rest of the system is going to be incredible.  You have lots of fun in your future!

Don't know what you would consider big. My room is 15 feet wide and 20 feet deep and has 12 foot ceilings.

    Re: Palladium

Love the processor, but I've had some disc reading issues with the disc player. Have had to work through them with NAD. Allot of software and firmware updates. seems to be working well and musically it's the finest disc player I've owned, other than the reading issue. I'll probably upgrade when I get my Palladiums, but not sure what too. I've got time to think about that. I'll use the NAD stuff for a while, and then decide it it warrants going to Mac or not!
