    CP-1 anyone?

My old ProMedia 4.1 system has had a buggered up controller for, oh, I dunno, years now. Does anyone have a CP-1 they would be willing to part with? Baring that, if there any way one could purchase a ProMedia 5.1 Sub and controller? My speakers are still cranking after all these years so I'd love to re-use them is I can. Thanks! Nope, it is the one and only upgrade that Klipsch seems to have offered, for a while anyway. I'd take a working part of the original if I could find that.

yes, I do have (2) 4.1 control pods available right now. I have an older style without the power button or inputs and I also have a CP-1 control pod. the first good offer for each will be accepted. please don't make any unreasonable offers, you guys know how much these things are worth and so do I. good luck people.

    Hello,

If you still have a cp-1 available, I would be more than happy to pay a fair price and also send you my old one. I saw them listed on the Klipsch sit for 49.99 and I am willing to pay that price. Thanks again. Any help is appreciated.

We have a few more CP-1s in stock, likely the last offering since these systems have been discontinued for a while.

    Thanks!

     Amy...

I have a promedia 4.1 system and awhile ago my volume control began light scratching noise when I adjusted the volume, then the scratching noise got much louder along with a buzz in one speaker and then ceased to function...At the time there were no replacement cp-1 controlers available...I just recieved an email (because I signed up for notification when they became available) telling me they were available...The control pod that I have seems to be according to the picture I saw a match for the one I have. My question is, is this replacement a refurb or new and have they upgraded the componets from the original ones so that the problem does not reoccur? I also had my subwoofer cease to work, however I did not expierence an over heating situation or smell any burning wires or componets...I am not sure if it was only the cp-1 that is the culpret and or that it's replacement would bring the subwoofer back on line...I truly miss my klipsch system and would love to get it back working again..Any suggestions as to how I would go about fixing my system? Thank you for your antisipated help in this matter.
