The Great Din connector of my Promedia 2.1, should I dump the speakers now?

I can't believe a company like Klipsch making such a piece of junk when it comes to the Din connector of Promedia, IT IS JUNK.  I'm done with that stupid thing.  Finally, my speakers are totally conked out.  Please let me know if there's a solution or should I just get rid of this crap.  What a waste of technology just due to one connector, phew.....

calling Klipsch tech support would be the best option I know. For anything in warranty they will send a free replacement. They have even been known to go beyond what would be required or expected.

Good folks there. Hope you will give them a chance to make it right.

I know there are occasions where they have earned good will helping me out.
