Klipschorns, Macassar Ebony, Rare and Beautiful

    Hello all,

I've got some medical issues that have come up and I need to sell these Klipschorns.   I bought them about a year ago from the previous owner.   I'm looking for the easiest transaction above $3,000 for them.   If you're looking for something really rare and beautiful then you've come to the right place.  I can take some more photos if you need.   If you are interested send me an email or a pm (though I don't really know how the pm system works here).

    Thanks Seti,

Sorry you didn't get a chance to see them.   Fortunately, the medical issues I have are related to financial support of my in-laws rather than personal illness.   We are having to bring them down to live with us and we need some cash to fix up our back house.   I could always borrow the money but my goals for 2008 preclude borrowing more than I owe to date.   At 51 I'm getting rid of debt and sacrificing things like this is part of the maturity process (at least that's what I keep telling myself).

    I won't be Klipschless thankfully.

    I appreciate your kind words.

    Bill

    Thanks Fini,

I appreciate your kindness.   All part of growing old I guess.  My father-in-law is supposed to be flown down here to Dallas tomorrow for some big city medicine.  My wife is a doctor and she's been managing his care up there in KY for a week.   The money from these speakers is going to go toward some needed improvements to my back house that my mother-in-law is going to live in until she gets her own place.

The speakers are just sickenly nice.   I'll probably need some medical care when they leave my possession.

Darn, I am sooooo tempted and Dallas is only a few hours away. This might cost me a lot of "honey-do's" if I can swing it. Would be a tight fit in the room they would go in but I have the right amps for them (or would that be 'wright' amps?) Wright Sound 3.5 SETs are supposed to arrive the end of this week.

Thanks Phil, for the kindness.   There are a lot of very nice people in this forum.

As for you texas42, thanks for the interest.    We who are married are continually working to keep the bride happy.  This is the first day I've had them on the Forum.  These are so rare that I'd expect there to be a good amount of interest.   When they're gone.....they're gone.

I'll try to take some more photos tomorrow for all the people who might have to travel.
