Buy them for the level of audio performance they deliver, Walk into a new audio retail establishment with $450, and audition what you can get for the money. You would need to spend $2,000. to attain this level of detail, but you all know that already. I use them for mixing multitrack audio. As studio monitors they are extremely valuable tools. The clarity and detail when coupled with quality amplification is unmatched. I use crown , and Qsc amps of moderate power and use a variety of preamps and mixers including digital mixers from Yamaha and Roland, analog mixers from Yamaha and Allen & Heath. No matter what configuration, the speakers impress me everytime. If I keep typing, I'm going to convince myself to raise my price..... so for your benefit I'll quit now. Thanks tipsters.
