     Here is what Klipsch recommends.

    http://www.klipsch.com/products/details/rf-82-home-theater-system.aspx

Try your receiver, before you buy. It should work just fine.   Take your time, figure out a Budget , but buy the Best you can afford.

Post Pictures when you get setup.  Good Luck.

Take a look at outlaw audio....their stuff is very very good at reasonable prices You can get one of their processors and run each channel off a separate mono block till your ears bleed!

see i dont know or understand this mono block whats that mean????

Mono block = one amplifier for each channel.  A mono block anp will amlpify one channel only.  If you have a 7.1 system you'll need 7 mono block amps.

Even though you have not shared with the forum what your budget is, here is a suggestion to achieve your goal while keeping it simple.  Buy a good mid/high end receiver like these:

    http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?g=10420&i=580TXN905B&tp=179

    http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/specialprice.asp?i=580TXN905B&cc=01&callpage=%2fApp%2fProduct%2fGroup%2fProductMenu.aspx%3fg%3d10420%26tp%3d179

    http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?g=10420&i=033AV3808C&tp=179

I am not at all affiliated with Crutchfied, just easiest link to find.  Each of these receivers are similar in specs and price point.  Great amps and DACS in each brand.  They will accomplish any A/V goal you are trying to acheive.  As far as the rest of your speakers here are suggestions if you don't mind cherry:

Oh yeah, not affiliated with Vann's either.

Re: ANY SUGGESTIONS ON BUILDING A SYSTEM???????

ok right now i have a yamaha rx v461 receiver can i just buy a good amp and keep my yamaha??  If so what are some good amps to look at???  I would be willing to spend a couple grand if i need to but i couldnt imagine i would need to.  If this is home audio is anything like car audio how u have a cd player running to an amp and then speakers hooked up to the amp i understand.  If iam right what kind of cable would i need to hook up my yamaha to the future amp????

Re: ANY SUGGESTIONS ON BUILDING A SYSTEM???????

    bekim99:

A receiver is a" all in one unit"....Preamp with pots for attenuating loudness and controls for tone.....tuner..... amplifiers....and switching devices....all wrapped up in a shiny black box. Some receivers have "preamp outs" rca jacks that will bypass the internal amplifier section so that you can use more powerful amps if desired.

The receiver you have now does not have any Pre amp outs....which means you cannot bypass it's internal amp and route the signal to an external power amp....

I'm not sure what you are trying to accomplish...your speakers are relatively efficient so buy going to say a 200 WPC system you would gain headroom but only a few decibels of "loudness".......

That yamaha is 100WPC but granted not all seven channel at one time, but rarely are you going to come into a situation that all channels will require full power

you can look at the big box stores and find many receivers that are 200+WPC or if you have the budget to do "seperates" i.e. dolby digital decoder, preamp power amps, be ready to drop $4000-$6000 minimum .....

Re: ANY SUGGESTIONS ON BUILDING A SYSTEM???????

Fenderbender is correct, no pre-outs for an external amp.  Your best bet would be for you to get a low/mid end receiver(RX-V661 to stay with Yamaha) that also has preouts and get a good used 5 or 7 channel amp like an Adcom,B&K,or Rotel.  Take a look at this one:

    http://cls.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?ampsmult&1224558009

I love my B&K.  Built like a tank and in USA.  I would probably scoop up this one if my wife gave me the go.

Look at this review if you are not quite sure:

Re: ANY SUGGESTIONS ON BUILDING A SYSTEM???????

so with a good external amp besides more power per channel do you get better sound quality more control over each speaker???? my point is what are you gaining with a external amp?  What do you guys think of a denon avr 5600

Re: ANY SUGGESTIONS ON BUILDING A SYSTEM???????

As a whole, more power, cleaner sound, more control.  An amp has one function, amplifiy a signal to send to speakers and come out in the form of sound.  I am sure you can't go wrong with the Denon.  At the time it was released it was Denon's flagship receiver.
