All respect, but you stated that you got hurt on shipping, are you uncomfortable asking a correct shipping price, or were you physically hurt by the process?  Planning to head to the midwest any time soon?

(I am interested, but cannot road trip 1600 x 2, I am just too old, lol)

I often ship via FedEx and FedEx has a bad habit of quoting one price and then charging another,

Often off by 50%, one time (when shipping RF-3's, the thread can still be seen here) to Washington State From NY state, FedEx DOUBLED the cost by the time we were all done.

The RF's arrived in prefect shape.

And the fellow (Adam was his name, I think) was very, very happy - lol.

    I took a bath.

I still have a pair of RF-3's sitting up in my spare bedroom...

I have no plans to drive to the Midwest any time soon...

I am about 3 hours north of you because the drive through Long Island and NYC takes most of that.

I worked for UPS while going to college and I can tell you an inch either way from the way you measured it to the way the clerk does can make a HUGE difference if that inch (anything over the line is rounded up to the next inch) puts you into an irregular category. I don't blame you for avoiding shipping large items!!
