    Cornwall II's for sale

I have inherited a beautiful pair of Cornwall II speakers... oiled walnut veneer. They are in terrific shape in all ways. My wife, sadly, is horrified by their size and will not entertain the thought of rearranging our living room for them. So, I am looking for a good home for them. Can someone tell me what would be a fair market price for them? Would anyone be interested in them at or somewhat below said fair market price? Thanks very much for your help. Oh- I'm not looking fondly towards the idea of crating and shipping these, but would be willing to deliver them myself within a reasonable radius of the Balto./Wash area. Thanks again!

You need to put your foot down where your wife is concerned. When mine told me they wern't going where I set them, I told her.

    Yes dear.

    Jreed,

    Welcome to the forum.

To help with the pricing your might want to post some pictures and close ups of any blemishes, like dents and veneer separation.  Also, you can only post one picture per post.

BTW you can also look at other peoples setups and show your wife, it could be worse.

If I were selling Corns, I'd probably ask in the range of $750.   It's always a lot easier to DROP the price rather than raise it.

Cornwalls have been on my wishlist for quite some time.   The only downside is if/when I find a local pair at my price point,

I'd have to get rid of 5 pairs of something to even get them thru the door (space and WAF).

In any case, too bad you can't keep 'em!

Dang George, that piano takes up quite a bit of space.   What's at the front of the room?  Or do you turn the chairs around for listening to the speakers?

Yep.  Cornwalls are looking pretty small.

Might want to try the approach of see how much better your soaps sound now?
