Heresy III Walnut $499

I'm looking to audition some Heresy II's this week based on reviews I read online. I own a McIntosh 6200 integrated amp and love vinyl and, from what I've heard, it can be a great marriage. Here's my question, Everybody is selling the Heresy III's for $799, Amazon is selling new pairs (through Vann's Audio) for $499. What's the catch, sounds to good to be true. Thanks, big_shooter

Mismatched veneers is the catch. They had a similar program with some LaScala II's, that someone here took advantage of. If you can position the speaker so that it doesn't bother you, who cares? Same guts, same great sound, prices are per speaker.
