Will do tonight - As an idea it is an RF-7 with a new motorboard  with the woofers just adjacent to the horn on either side. The ports are in the same location as the RF-7.

That would be a pretty big center channel.  I'll bet it sounds great though.

HornEd would be proud the center channel mods still happen.

The mod was done by a Klipsch engineer, well aware of the functionallity. It does sound great, different, but I don't expect to need this sort of center for some time. And I am planning on mounting above a fireplace/flat screen so it would be tough. If I had a screen, or extra space you couldn't pry this out of my hands.

Item is not perfect - No spikes (obviously) no way to put a grill (unless you did it yourself), some dimples in the woofers - the worst is shown below, and light scuffs around.

I'll give you a bump for those pics.  That is awesome.  I wish I had room to stick it between my RF-7's, we'd trade in a heartbeat.

Has the cabinet been modified from its original dimensions?  I thought I was nuts but I do have a standard (no Dean G mod) RC 7 that I might consider doing this.  I'm in Ohio also, close to Canton.

I believe only the motarboard has been changed so the exterior dimensions should be the same as an RF-7.

Personally I Love the rc-7 (perfect all around speaker) THANK YOU KLIPSCH!

That being said, whats the difference between this super version and the "real" rc7 tonally speaking?

All, I am in Indianapolis now, have yet to change my avatar. These are the same dimension as the RF-7 except no feet/grill (but you could drill and add the grill holes if you wanted) As far as tonally these are EXACTLY the same as the RF-7 with the exception of the moved placement on the drivers. I would be OK with a trade for a non-Dean G RC-7 if you could drive a little farther to pick them up. Someone has asked what I would charge for these to buy outright...the same price as an available RC-7. The last one I saw was $500, if you can get me a better deal...you can have this one for that much. I
