    WTB: KLF-20's or RF-7

I have not had any luck finding a pair of Mahogany KLF-20's, so I am expanding my search to include any KLF-20's or Rf-7's.  I would prefer Cherry in the Rf-7's, but whatever.  I'm in Shreveport, LA and unless you are close they would have to be shipped at my expense.  Therefore, I prefer them to include the original boxes.  I am also interested in the matching center, so I would consider a package sale.  I would prefer to purchase from an established forum member, but all leads are welcome.

Some say they have been bitten by the Klipsch bug. Well I have Klipsch gonorrhea. I have a genetic lineage of bias towards Klipsch speakers.

Wanted: A single black KLF-20, a pair of KLF-20’s in Mahogany (will pay a premium). A Pair of Belle’s for a in progress 2-channel setup.

Current setup: A humble 5.1 Quintet I setup with KSW-12 Sub. This is what children and responsibility have left me with.

Working on: I have attained 5 KLF-C-7's (for center ans surrounds) and a semi-beater pair of KLF-20's. Building a new house, so this has yet to be set up.

Well you have probably already seen my ad, but I have the RF-7 and RC-7 for sale here in the Garage Sale forum in Ash Black.  I don't have the original boxes but would take great care in packaging them so they will arrive safely.  Part of my private business is packaging fragile items for shipment.  I do it all the time (just on a smaller scale) so I am pretty good at it.

Both the RF-7 and RC-7 have both had the crossover networks upgraded by DeanG (this cost me several hundred dollars, and is considered a very good upgrade by most - well actually everyone likes it that I have read about).  Dean's upgrade took a great speaker and actually made it better (imo). Since both the towers and center channel have been upgraded they are still a very good match sonically/tonally.   Dean's work is very very good, many will attest to that in these forums.

I have been a forum member for many years but unfortunately I don't have many posts.  I do however have over 800 feedbacks on ebay and several hundred on Amazon with no negatives if that makes you any more comfortable.

We can negotiate a package deal if you are interested.

Take a listen to the RF-7s before you buy, if you have not already.  I love mine, but may not be your cup of tea.

I listed my cherry RF-7s in here the other day. I'm in Tampa which isn't that far I guess. They have the DeanG mod and one woofer has a small dent in the cone and radius (don't ask) and I have been meaning to buy a new one for $160, but honestly I haven't noticed any change in performance. We're having another baby so the music room is shifting into living room where floorstanders are apparently taboo. Dr. C hit me with an email if you want to chat
