Wanted: McIntosh panlocs and L brackets

I got this MC 2125 amp  and case a couple or three years ago from the original owner's son (father passed and left stereo to son who had no desire for it in seminary school) who swore he didn't know what a panloc is so I assume they had been lost in the shuffle. Ok, now that I have gone to the tube side I am planning on selling the amp and figured I should locate a set of panlocs AND the little "L" brackets that connect the panlocs to the case for re-sale purposes. Anybody got a pair looking for a new home?

5 Belles, JM Tercel & Peach, VRD stereo, Pro_Ject and Jolida CD. Denon, SMS & SVS, Oppo -83, XBox 360, Ps-3 for the HT mode.

For sale: One owner WO Quartets & white RS-7s. Dewicked MC-2125. Make a real offer.

I have an extra set of Panlocs with all attachment hardware.

I loaned the cabinet the Panlocs came with and a second Mac cabinet to a local guy to try out.

He moved and left no forwarding information (from what I understand he is in the Phoenix area). He took both cabinets and never paid me for them.

I am still pissed about it and it's been more that a year. Maybe I should post a thread with his name on all the audio boards.

Or maybe selling the Panlocs would help me forget about it.

Email sent. If you are willing to sell, they fit and it makes economic sense to buy for readying amp/case for sell.........

Email received. Trying to determine if these Panlocs will fit your amp and I ran across this document on Panlocs:

    http://mcc.berners.ch/other/PANLOC.pdf

It looks like there are quite a variety of these, which I didn't know about before.

My Panlocs came on a C26 preamp as I recall, so now I don't think they are the right ones for your amp. Sorry.

Any Forum Mac experts who can weigh in on Panloc compatibility? One thing about Berners document is that it is non-comprehensive, so maybe there is more compatibility than the document suggests.

USNRET, the panlocks are a break even proposition at best amongs the group of Mac freaks I know. Most like the case without the PITA locking system. If you really want a set, I would call McIntosh directly, or AudioClassics, where you will get a new set with no markup, or a graded set that is solid.

Triceratops, a detective my wife worked with has a very good friend on the Phoenix PF who probably could pay a visit. Check your PM tonight.

Two ways and three ways are good for you!

I never found that I wanted them for my use. I very seldom took the equipment out of the case except to haul them up to Mr Dewick for a going over. Sold the tuner (no FM here) and the C-28 when I got the Peach. Now with the VRD_ST, the amp is resting comfortably in retirement and needs an appreciative home it was and will be again a great match up for Klipsch.

Thanks to Tom and Sheltie Dave for your offers to help with the guy who ripped me off. I will dig out the info and get back to you guys in a few days. Just another reminder of what a great community the Klipsch Forum is!

    I too have a C-26.

I emailed you about the panlocs and hardware. If you still want to part with them, I will take them off your hands.

Shoot me an email with a price.

    Thanks, Tom
