    Help setting up crossover Feq.

Onkyo 805  with Rf-82 fronts and RC-62 center.Sub is RW-12 . Audessy sets full band. Should I stick with that?

Sounds like that would work fine.

Of course, your own ears are the best judge of that. If it sounds right to your ears, it's a winning combination.

Audessy is STUPID, if you have good sub, run speakers SMALL at 80 Hz. Are you using surrounds?

Set your speakers to 80Hz and the LFE to 120Hz.

have the same reciever, turn audessy off.

best bet is follow the advice already given.

start with the "small" setting and sub turned up to 120hz.  then on your sub it self start with it at 80hz.  (that way the sub is actually doing the crossover).  see how that sounds and if you don't like it, lower the mains 10hz each time until something sounds good.  fiddle with that, doing one setting at a time.

i'm no sub set up expert, but what i do is, sit in "your seat" and during a heavy bass demo, close your eyes, and if you can hear the sub "over there" turn the hz down a little at a time until the bass sound sounds like it's comming from everywhere.  you may have to move the sub, a few inches can make a big deal.  it's something you won't be able to do in 10minutes.  it may take 20-50 trys depending on how "picky" you are.

    good luck.
