Are all split La Scalas fiberglass?

I'm looking at a pair of split La Scalas, the owner says they are wood but the research I've done looks like most are fiberglass.  Did they come in wood or fiberglass?  Are they all LSI's?  I'm waiting on a call back from the owner and better pictures.  Here's a picture.

     There are definitely wood splits.

I believe there are a number of options with the Industria/Pro La Scalas:  black paint, black fiberglass, handles, no handles, metal edges or not, maybe even finished wood or raw wood, etc.

Right on Pat-  I've seen split LSI's in:

    raw birch, no trim

rounded over corners, rectangular top sections (Roger has these)

rounded over corners, trap top sections

pebble painted with aluminum trim (I've owned these, now Rplace has them)

black glass with aluminum trim (no such thing as black glass without aluminum trim btw) (in my shop right now)

Klipsch NEVER used rat fur on these (anything you might see like this is aftermarket)

Thanks for all the responses!  I had no clue there were so many split La Scala models.

Per the owner these don't have any model numbers on them but serial numbers are 2360 and 2334 for the tops, and 2196 and 2221 for the bottoms.  Is there any way to determine their age?  The tweeters are K-77M and one is not working.  What is a reasonable price for these?

Michael, you really need to get those and add them to the teak/cane to do list...it just wouldn't be right with all those planned cornwalls for you not to have a pair of LSIs in the same finish.
