Scanning some of Dad's old slides and come across this...
Did he put it there? Did he just like it? Are there really things buried there (as happens many times on construction sites), is it a joke because it suggests something is buried there but isn't?
No answers. I might have to ask him if he remembers this one.
In case it's hard to read it says "Here lies your TV antenna, electrical wires and telephone poles, may they rest in peace!"
I know on one of his projects he had an older car of ours parked there. "His guys" thought he had abandoned it while we were gone on a vacation so they decided to get rid of it for him...they took a bulldozer, dug a big hole, pushed the car in and buried it.
Thinking they were doing him a favor they were real proud when he came back and asked "What happened to my car...where is it?"
