Just starting to look for a used pair of VRDs for a Mid july purchase. Anybody got a spare set needing a new home?
Not absolutely firm on VRDs if nothing is available. Would also consider other high end choices
Shoulda bought the pair that was here several months back.

love them, they are a great cross between the otl and push pull, i have the set version and the really sing (when i get a chance to actually listen to them that is)

listening to some loud stuff on k horns on occasion so something 30 watts + is kinda where i am going- but open to other offers.
There's a Marantz 8b on ebay with an hour to go. They go for wabout $2k these days and are worth every penny.
I am about 2 weeks away from buying- waiting on a comish check-thanks for the tip- will make a mental note of that model.

Every preloved pair of those I found offered here was under 1800 for quite a while back.
Just dont have 3 grand to drop right now for new ones. I fonud a set for 1500 and told a forum buddy about them several months ago. He bought them and loves them. 1500- 1800 is the going rate for nice used examples. I have a nice Mac 2105 to use until I find them so I have time to wait. Not in a hurry - just want to keep my name in the hat. Beautiful pics
Sold the stereo VRD due to limited listening time, but they'll have to pry the mono's from my cold dead hands....And I would love to purchase a Stereo VRD again someday. Bump.
