I do love 'em Truthfully it is one of the best speakers I have ever heard, the power of the Heritage series with a small footprong, but I kind of want to change back to RF series so I can get matching center and surround channels. Heck, worse comes to worse I keep 'em and buy a Heresy as a center channel. The RF stuff doesn't quite have the personality of heritage equipment, but I'd like to get a complete and acoustically matched system if possible. If they don't sell, I'm just going to have to stay all Heritage, man life is tough :-).
Personally, I still have a mind to go with the heresy center concept, but I just don't have to room for it. The Forte II does everythng right. If I could grab a pair of RF 5's and an RC-62, my day would be almost complete. My listening room is no way big enough to support HII or HIII center and surround channels. One of the things I love about the Forte II is Cornwall sound in a smaller footprint.
I am rearrainging my sound room, and I'd love to have a complere RF system with fronts, center, surrounds and subwoofer. All that stuff could actually fit in my room. The RF center channel speakers are shielded, so I'm good there. There is no way I can fit two FII's and three HII's in my listening room, the trouble with city living.
I didn't see it either, then I went over to a friend's house, he had the complere RF-62 based home theater system, it was great, I prefer the RF 5, it is more dynamic, but this RF 62 based system really was impressive. The more I write, the less resolved I am to selling them, so I better stop.
