I have a pair of Heresy speakers (Serial Numbers 695274 and 69527) in birchwood that have the older binding posts that look like something out of an electrician's spares drawer. You know the ones with tiny screws to clamp down bare wire? I would like to upgrade this connection to something that will accept banana plugs or larger spades. Is this an easy upgrade and would you recommend it as a DIY or something a professional shop should do?
DIY
I've got 4 to upgrade, gonna wait till I have time/$$ to do X-overs and possibly refinish.
Do you know what year mine would have been built based on the serial numbers I've quoted?

Check the '5' on your S/N closely, they are probably 'S', which makes them 1978
