FS 2 Paradigm PW-2200 New price 250 each

I went to the back bedroom this weekend and felt like I need to get rid of a few items I am no longer using. I have for sale a Paradigm PW-2200. Before I bought my Servo15 the PW-2200 was the best sub I had every owned. What a great sound a surprising output, this sub retailed at about 1000.00 please ask questions I will be happy to answer them all. My price is $600 this includes professional packing and shipping charges shipped in the Conti US also Paypal fees if they apply will be included, 400 if picked up locally.  I am going to include a couple of views from audioreview.com. Those of you that wonder or would like to know why I am selling all of my gear that is not in use, I want to buy a Paradigm Servo V2. The Servo V1 that I am currently using will be installed in my in-laws HT when I get the Servo V2.Correction guys I think I am going to buy an svs ultra 13 in the piano black. the new paradigm sub 15 is just to expensive.

    Review from Audioreview.com

Well, after having this sub for approx 6 months now i'm very happy. This thing is phenomenal when i consider what i paid for it. To be honest, i think its worth more then what i paid.

I currently own the Paradigm Reference Studio 100's V2, and matching Reference CC-470 center and ADP surrounds. I was looking for a sub for home theatre, since I was more then happy with the output of 100's for stereo listening. I was set on buying the reference servo 15 since i thought this was the best option to match my system. When i went to audition, the salesman at EHR actually talked me out of buying it and asked me to audition the PW2200. At half the cost i was amazed listening to this sub, it is incredible. I have a large room, approx 18' x 24' of which i have my theater set up. This sub easily and i mean easily fills the space with MASSIVE bass!!! It pounds with such authority that even 6 months later it still puts a smile on my face. Awesome for movies!

Before i auditioned this sub i also listened to the B&W 12" model, not sure the model name, Velodyne 12" and Energy 12". Sorry, i don't know the model #s. I can say without a doubt that these subs don't hold a candle to the Paradigm. The other great part was that the Paradigm even sounds 10 times better in my home then it did in the showroom.

Last but not least, music. Since the sub has been in my possesion i have used it for music aswell. This sub is excellent for low pounding bass. I find its hit and miss sometimes because the Studio 100's reproduce music so well, that the extra bass sometimes takes away from the panning and transparency of these great speakers. However, it totally depends what your listening too. If i want to feel the drums in the song hit me in the chest, i leave it on. :)

Long story short....Paradigm PW-2200 V.2 2005 model. Great sub, great value. I don't think their is anything in its class that rivals it, not even at twice the price.

I tried to be critical, but their is really nothing bad i can say?

    Strengths:
Enourmous bass, tigh, powerful. It will rattle your walls!!! Endless power!

    Weaknesses:
    I can't think of any???

    Similar Products Used:
    B&W, Velodyne, Energy.

Someone buy this sub from this fine gentleman.  Seems like a fair price even better if you pick up.

    Re: FS Paradigm PW-2200

Man if I lived near you I would pay $400 to pick it up because I could counter that by selling my RW-10d.  But unfortunately I cannot afford $600.  Sucks..but good luck with the sale, people are saying this is a GREAT sub so someone that lives near him should jump all over this!

Man these are wonderful subs, they sound great and being rear ported will blend in a corner of the room and open up the Lower Freq's without being noticed. The first subs have ever bought that blended with the rest of my system so perfectly. But Like I said before when you have extra stuff you need to move it and consolidate. mbr311 sorry about the extra 200.00 but I need to cover freight and professional custom packing. Thanks for the post. Please let me know if there is any other way I can help. If there are members from Arkansas that might want them I would be happy to drive to help out a fellow member get these. And by these I do mean a pair. 800.00 for the pair.

    Re: FS Paradigm PW-2200

Don't apologize bro, I understand the extra $200 needed to cover freight.  I'm totally bummed I don't live near you I would pick that up in a SECOND.  I could sell my much inferior RW-10d for around $300 and basically pay for it that way.  Unfortunately i can't cover the extra $300 I would need to have it shipped, I was in the hospital for 9 months and needless to say I have a bunch of medical bills I have to deal with.  But good luck with your sale I can't believe no one local has jumped on it.  Have you tried Craigslist or anything like that?  I wouuld think that would sell in a hot minute.

Re: FS 2 Paradigm PW-2200 New price 250 each

Mr. Tubbs, my friend, I would love to have one of your PW-2200's.  However, I am currently under a self-imposed audio/video spending freeze, unless I only buy to resale.  In this case, I would keep the sub and integrate it with my RSW-10d.

Someone please buy these subs before I have to fall off the wagon.

    Excellent price.

    Good luck,

    Bill

Re: FS 2 Paradigm PW-2200 New price 250 each

So I have been saving up for a sub, saw Jeff’s ad and was all prepared to purchase one of his sub’s – then I get a call at work from my hysterical wife – we had inclement weather come through our area this morning and an uninsured hot-rod DOLT who apparently doesn’t understand the concept of hydroplaning (I.E…slow down on wet roads) side swiped her car – and there goes my sub budget to insurance deductible.

Jeff was very understanding about the whole ordeal and I wanted to thank him again.
