...after receiving helpful comments from Frzninvt, wuzzzer, ivanhurd, & mustang guy...other components included a Sony STR-DE995 Receiver/Amp, Sony DVP-NC655P AV player, JBL "Power bass" PB10. The 5.5's sound great, and the amp works (I'm using a small DVD player I already had to test with)...the other components are being hooked up today. Will use the KG 1.5's I already had as rears for now. Am very happy with the Sound/$ outcome! Thanks for the suggestions, it helped me settle on these components instead of the smaller speakers I originally had in mind!
