Anthony,
Welcome to the forum.
anthonyf:After 25 years of being in storage i want to power up my Heresy II speakers and get that great sound i remebered.
Isn't it amazing how the Heritage Klipsch sound can remain in your head even after all those years.
anthonyf:The question is, should the speakers be overhauled or checked by an electronics tech?
It is a good idea but hold on before you pay a tech to do it. Many technically talented members on this forum would be glad to help out for probably no fee at all. Where are you located? Maybe a forum brother in your area would drop by and have a look and offer suggestions. This is a wonderful family we have here and it is very common practice for members to lend a hand or point you in the right direction.
