selling off 3 pairs of Quartets, Academy,+

Moving in a different direction and have decided to sell off alot of my main setup. What I am selling is 3 pair of Quartets, Academy, KG 2.2, KT-LCR and a KSW-10. Photos to follow, descriptions as follows:

All Quartets are oiled oak. Risers are available, 3 need refinishing.

Pair#1 have extra internal bracing with BC's tweeter and crossover refreshening. Pair#2 has the internal bracing as the first pair but are bone stock otherwise. Pair#3 are stock.

The Academy is black, has BC's tweeter and crossover refreshing as well. I reworked the motor board so that the tweeter now has horizontal positioning. That mode greatly improved of axis clarity. The original grill did not fit after the mod so it now has grills on the woofers. More of an industrial look.

The KG 2.2s are walnut oiled in mint condition with original packaging.

The KT-LCR are black and on homemade pedistals. They were used as surround with KLF partners with great results.

The KSW-10 is of course black, nothing fancy, just a small sub.

No, I am not selling of all of my gear, Klipsch will remain my primary in the garage, gameroom, surrounds, and bedroom!

Pictures to follow in the next couple of days.

    Thanks

    Bill,

    Thanks for the kind words.

    To all,

I am hoping not to do much if any shipping, and will price accordingly to promote local pickup by a forum member.

    Thank you.

Re: selling off 3 pairs of Quartets, Academy,+

I hope to have all of the prices and pics posted by tomorrow evening. To be honest I havn't even thought of prices. I would say the pricing is as follows.

    Quartet stock - $325

Quartet with extra bracing - $325

Quartet with extra bracing and refresed with BC's caps and tweets - $400

    Academy - $300

    KG 2.2s - $125

    KT-LCR w/stands - $100

    KSW-10 - $50

All prices are pick up preffered and package deals can certainly be discussed.(Quartets 5.0 anyone?)

I do not have any spare Q parts.

I would probably do a 5.2 Quartet setup if I was not so pleased with my RF-63 5.2 system.  I am enjoying "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" on SACD(thanks Jeff)in 5.2 as I am typing this and am totally blown away with all aspects of this album.  Just came in from trimming the hedges(long overdue) and first popped in an SACD of Dire Straits "Brothers in Arms"(again thanks Jeff) and am completely amazed how good it sounds.  I have no clue why I never got in to Dire Straits so I am making up for lost time.  Amazing talent, very complex arrangements with beautiful melodies.MusicMusicMusic

Sorry I got carried away.Zip it!

6 Quartets w/o grills. Not exactly the "wall of voodoo" but could certainly upset the neighbors!
